The Reddick Mansion is known as a unique landmark, a prideful reminder of the past. Standing on the corner of Columbus and Lafayette streets in Ottawa, Illinois, the magnificent structure remains as a tribute to the architecture, times and people of a bygone century.
An examination and resulting report were completed by July 19, 1978. That report to the recently organized association board listed twenty-nine observations that would assist the association in making decisions that would guide it in its efforts to fulfill its stated mission.
