Thru the 35 years that the Association has been in existence the citizens of Ottawa have been generous with their time and donations. It is because of this generosity that the Mansion has been able to maintain superior, quality restoration. EVERY DONATION is appreciated and welcome!
The levels of donations have been categorized as follows:
- PATRON = $50.00
- GUARANTOR = $100.00
- TRIBUTE NAME PLATE = $1,000.00 (The donor’s name would be engraved on a brass plaque displayed in the entry of the building.) View Current List
- CORPORATE = between $1,000.00 and $10,000.00 (The donor business would also have its name engraved on a brass plaque displayed in the entry of the building.)
- ENDOWMENT = $10,000.00 (The donor’s photo is displayed in the entry of the building.) View Current List
The Association has very few items that were original to the Reddick household but an earnest attempt has been made to restore these period rooms as it had been during the Reddick’s ownership. Click here to read a report presented around 1980 specifying the antique items used in the south parlor and the names of the people who took part in this restoration. This is another opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of individuals to “furnish” the rooms as the Reddick home had been in the period of 1870-1875 (View Current List ).
For those who wish to contribute to the mission of the RMA and its operation, you might consider making a donation-in-kind. The value of such donations is likely a possible tax deduction (check with your tax person). To view the most current items of need, click on the link just below. Items on this "wish list" range from a value of a few dollars to many thousands.
A Final Word
We continue to be grateful to those individuals who have contributed in any way to the restoration efforts and look forward to new and continued involvement of interested parties. The Reddick Mansion is a unique reminder of days past and a cornerstone in the history of Ottawa, the state of Illinois and the Nation.
